Abstract: Herminium motuoensis (Orchidaceae, Orchidoideae), a new species from Tibet, China, is described and illustrated. Herminium motuoensis belongs to Herminium sect. Thisbe and is similar to H. coiloglossum, H. fallax and H. ophioglossoides, but it can be distinguished from latter in having rachis laxly few flowered, lip broadly ovate, with a large callus at base and lateral triangular pugioniform.
