On 15th March 2018, GEI in china visited CAS-SEABRI (Myanmar Office) which is situated in Forest Research Institute, Yezin, Nay Pyi Taw,Myanmar.

On 15th March 2018, Global Environmental Institute (GEI) in china visited CAS-SEABRI (Myanmar Office) which is situated in Forest Research Institute, Yezin, Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar. 

Global Environmental Institute (GEI) – China is a Chinese non-profit, non-governmental organization. GEI facilitates cooperation between government departments, academic institutions, private enterprises, and civil society organizations and seeks out integrated solutions to economic development and environmental protection in China. GEI researches, designs and promotes financial and commercial models as well as policy tools to pilot at its projectsites. GEI wants to engage in capacity building of all relevant stake holders. In Myanmar office, they discussed about wildlife trafficking and poaching particularly elephants in Myanmar,Asia. They want to cooperate with CAS-SEARBI in wildlife conservation and solving environmental problems.
