Students of University of Forestry (UOF), Yezin, visit to CAS-SEABRI

To improve the practical knowledge on biodiversity conservation, the fourth year students of University of Forestry (UOF) visited CAS-SEABRI on 27th July 2017.

University of Forestry, Yezin, is the only university specialized in Forestry in Myanmar. It mainly offers a five-year Bachelor of Science degree program in forestry as well as two-year master’s and three-year doctoral programs. The university is administered by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation and is affiliated with the Forest Research Institute. Normally, the University of Forestry (UOF) has around 500 students per year. 

To improve the practical knowledge on biodiversity conservation, the fourth year students of University of Forestry (UOF) visited CAS-SEABRI on 27th July 2017. The students were explained about the cooperation between Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation (MONREC). The forestry students explored and focused on the new scientific findings of the scientists of both sides.
